Canadian running back Jesse Lumsden may be signing with the Calgary Stampeders, general manager/head coach John Hufnagel indicated Wednesday.
"We've spoken but decision isn't made yet," Lumsden told Sportsnet in an e-mail. "Next couple of days, I'd like to have something locked up."
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have also talked to Lumsden.
Lumsden has not played since injuring a shoulder in the first game of the 2009 season with Edmonton, who signed him after he played several seasons in Hamilton and sustained multiple injuries.
