Andy Fantuz, voted the top Canadian player in the Canadian Football League last year, will be tested by the Pittsburgh Steelers on Tuesday.

The gifted receiver Saskatchewan Roughriders posted the news on his Twitter account Monday night.

Fantuz led the CFL in receiving yards with a career-high 1,380 in his fifth year in the league. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound receiver also had a career-high 87 receptions.

CFL players who are in their option-year of their contracts can try out and sign with NFL teams during a two-month window that has begun.

Fantuz also said on his website that he'll work out with the Minnesota Vikings on Dec. 18.
