MISSISSAUGA, Ont. - The Toronto Argonauts have cut import receiver Prechae Rodriguez, the club announced Wednesday.
The 26-year-old joined the Argos in September after he was released by the Edmonton Eskimos.
Rodriguez had a breakout rookie campaign in 2008 with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (70 catches, 1,099 yards, seven TDs).
But he has bounced between Saskatchewan, Montreal, Edmonton and Toronto since then, registering 83 receptions, 969 yards and five TDs over that span.
The move comes a day after the Argos acquired receiver Maurice Mann in a trade with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
