The lineup of the defending Grey Cup champions will not return intact next season, as B.C. Lions middle linebacker Solomon Elimimian signed a contract with the NFL's Minnesota Vikings, it was reported late Wednesday.
Agent Bardia Ghahremani announced the deal on Twitter, placing the former top rookie in the CFL in 2010 with another client in Minnesota, receiver Emmanuel Arceneaux.
According to reports, Elimimian chose between the Vikings, St. Louis Rams and Carolina Panthers, but not before asking the Lions to make a contract offer Wednesday.
