As expected, B.C. Lions offensive tackle Jovan Olafioye is NFL bound.
Sportsnet's Arash Madani has learned that Olafioye signed a two-year deal with the St. Louis Rams, with guaranteed money in the six-figures. In the past couple months he had workouts with a number of NFL teams including the Miami Dolphins.
The 24-year-old Olafioye signed as an undrafted free agent with the Lions in 2010 and was named a West Division All-Star in 2010 and 2011.
Olafioye is the second key player for the Lions to sign with the NFL in recent weeks. His former Lions teammate, linebacker Solomon Elimimian recently signed with the Minnesota Vikings.
