Blue Bombers extend left tackle Stanley Bryant

WINNIPEG — The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed left tackle Stanley Bryant to a contract extension through the 2017 season on Saturday.

Bryant started every game last season for Winnipeg, which signed him as a free agent in February.

The 29-year-old spent five years with the Calgary Stampeders prior to joining the Blue Bombers. In Calgary, Bryant was a Canadian Football League and division all-star in 2013 and 2014.

Bryant won a Grey Cup with the Stampeders in 2014.
