EDMONTON — Grant Shaw’s season is over.

The Edmonton Eskimos announced Sunday the kicker-punter suffered a season-ending torn pectoral muscle in the club’s 28-13 loss Monday to the Calgary Stampeders.

The Eskimos said Shaw underwent successful surgery and is expected to make a full recovery.

The six-foot-three, 225-pound Edmonton native is in his fifth CFL season, third with the Eskimos.

Shaw made 23-of-27 field goal attempts this season and averaged 44.0 yards per punt and 62.3 yards on kickoffs.
