Leggett, Zylstra and Masoli named top performers for Week 12

TORONTO — Winnipeg Blue Bombers defensive back Maurice Leggett, Edmonton Eskimos wide receiver Brandon Zylstra and Hamilton Tiger-Cats quarterback Jeremiah Masoli were named CFL top performers of the week Tuesday.

Leggett had two touchdowns in Winnipeg’s 48-28 win over the Saskatchewan Roughriders last week. He returned a punt for a 97-yard TD in the second quarter and scored again on a 54-yard interception return in the third quarter.

Zylstra had 187 receiving yards on 10 receptions in a 25-22 loss to the Calgary Stampeders. Masoli threw for 231 yards and rushed for 73 yards in Hamilton’s 26-22 victory over the Ottawa Redblacks.
