The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have added NFL quarterbacks Colin Kaepernick and Robert Griffin III to their negotiation list, reports CFL insider Justin Dunk.
Kaepernick, who made headlines this past season for his protests of the U.S. national anthem, became a free agent after opting out of his contract with the San Francisco 49ers. The 29-year-old has spent his entire six-year NFL career with the club.
Griffin, 27, began his career with the Washington Redskins and was recently released by the Cleveland Browns.
The CFL negotiation list consists of 35 players per team and ensures the club has exclusive rights to negotiate contracts for that group within the league.
