REGINA — The Saskatchewan Roughriders have released veteran quarterback Kevin Glenn.

The moves comes a day after the Roughriders acquired quarterback Zach Collaros in a trade with Hamilton. The Roughriders also have Canadian pivot Brandon Bridge under contract.

The 38-year-old Glenn joined the Roughriders as a free agent before last season. He passed for 4,038 yards and 25 touchdowns in 2017 and led the Riders to the CFL East Division final, where they fell 25-21 to eventual Grey Cup champion Toronto.

Glenn’s release ends his third d stint with the Riders. He broke into the league with Saskatchewan in 2001.

He has thrown for 52,867 yards and 294 touchdowns over 17 CFL seasons with Saskatchewan, Winnipeg, Hamilton, Calgary, B.C., and Montreal.
