CALGARY — The Calgary Stampeders added to their offence Thursday, signing running back Rafael Little and receiver Louis Givens.

Little signed with the NFL’s Tennessee Titans in 2008 after recording 5,343 all-purpose yards at the University of Kentucky. He became just the third player in Southeastern Conference history to have 2,500 rushing yards and 1,000 receiving yards.

Little was waived by the Titans prior to the 2009 pre-season, and later spent time on the Winnipeg Blue Bombers’ practice roster.

Givens made the Florida State roster as a walk-on in 2008, and finished his collegiate career with 11 receptions for 122 yards, and seven kick returns for 174 yards.

"These are both players who show the ability to make plays on offence," said Hufnagel. "They showed some good things at the free-agent camp we had in Florida and we look forward to seeing how they match up when they get here for training camp."
