HAMILTON — The Hamilton Tiger-Cats re-signed linebacker Frederic Plesius and defensive tackle Michael Atkinson to two-year contracts Monday.
The two Canadian players were free agents.
Plesius, 28, appeared in 17 regular-season games and two playoff contests with Hamilton last year. The six-foot-one, 240-pound Laval, Que., native had a team-high 19 special-teams tackles while adding two tackles and a fumble recovery.
Plesius has appeared in 49 career games, all with Hamilton.
Atkinson, 27, had four tackles in eight regular-season games and added a tackle and sack in two playoff contests with Hamilton last year. The six-foot, 312-pound native of Windsor, Ont., is entering his third season with Hamilton.
