HAMILTON — The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have signed national offensive lineman Brandon Revenberg to a contract extension through the 2020 CFL season.

Revenberg started all 18 of Hamilton’s regular-season games at left guard and also saw action at centre in 2017.

Revenberg has appeared in all 36 regular-season games during his first two seasons with the Ticats, making 24 starts at left guard. The versatile offensive lineman also started the 2016 Eastern semifinal against Edmonton at right tackle.

"Rev has proven to be one of the best young Canadian offensive linemen in the CFL," Ticats coach June Jones said in a statement. "It’s extremely important to build with your nationals, especially when they’re as talented and versatile as Brandon. We’re very happy to have him signed long-term."

The six-foot-four, 301-pound native of Essex, Ont., was selected by Hamilton in the first round, third overall, in the 2016 CFL Draft.
