ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- If signing Terrell Owens was considered a big move for the Bills this off-season, wait until you see how much bigger they got with their two first-round picks in the NFL Draft.

After addressing their pass rush by selecting Penn State defensive end Aaron Maybin with the No. 11 pick Saturday, the Bills filled a need on their offensive line by taking Louisville centre Eric Wood at No. 28.

Maybin, listed at six-foot-four, 248 pounds, has the potential to immediately bolster the Bills' pass rush after leading the Big 10 with 12 sacks last season.

Wood, listed at six-foot-four, 304 pounds, was a three-year starter in college. He was selected with the pick the Bills acquired in trading left tackle Jason Peters to Philadelphia last week.

IRVING, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys traded their second-round pick Saturday, leaving them without a selection on the first day of the NFL draft.

The Buffalo Bills acquired the 51st pick from the Cowboys in exchange for third- and fourth-round picks, the 75th and 110th selections.

It should be a much different Sunday for the Cowboys, who have 12 picks in rounds three through seven.

Dallas did not have a first-round pick, having dealt that with third- and sixth-rounders to Detroit last season for receiver Roy Williams.

The swap with the Bills was the 53rd draft day trade since Jerry Jones bought the team in 1989.
