CINCINNATI -- The Cincinnati Bengals have cut veteran running back Kenny Watson.

The eight-year veteran played in 10 games last season for the Bengals, sitting out the final four with a hamstring injury. He gained 55 yards on 13 carries and caught three passes for four yards.

The Penn State product signed as a free agent with the Washington Redskins in 2001. The Bengals signed him as a free agent in 2003.

In 2007 he played in all 16 games and started five, gaining 763 yards rushing and scoring seven touchdowns.

The Bengals on Monday also waived third-year fullback J.D. Runnels Jr. The Oklahoma player didn't see game action last season.
