PHILADELPHIA -- The Philadelphia Eagles have signed tight end Tony Curtis and linebacker Curtis Gatewood.

Curtis spent the last three seasons with the Dallas Cowboys. He had eight catches for 32 yards last season, and all three of his receptions were touchdowns in 2007. He was released by Kansas City this month.

Gatewood played six games with the Chiefs last year after spending most of the season on Washington's practice squad. He was released by Detroit last week.

To make room on the roster, quarterback Adam DiMichele and wide receiver Shaheer McBride were released.
