Thursday I was activated from the physically unable to perform list and was finally able to participate in practice. I haven't played since Week 15 of last year against the Jets. I injured my knee while blocking for Marshawn Lynch.

It was probably one of the most difficult times for me. I definitely had to learn to be patient and stay positive. I've never been hurt in the 23 years of my life, at least not to that extreme where I've had to sit out for a long period of time.

As far as film study, meetings, practice, I was out there. I wasn't able to participate during practice, but everything else that they did, I was doing. Sometimes before practice, I would do workouts with trainers, then after practice, almost every day I ran routes with the quarterback and with a corner or a safety.

Hopefully I'll be playing this Sunday. I don't have any expectations on when I'm going to play and when I'm going to start. I'll just go and everyday just get better. If you have expectations and you can't live up to them, that is when things start going wrong for guys mentally.

I saw Terrell Owens in the training room Thursday and he says he's feeling a lot better. Hopefully he'll be playing Sunday. It would be great if we could both play.

Terrell has definitely been a mentor to me. I've learned first and foremost from him how to be a professional and the mind frame that you need to have on a day-to-day basis in order to be consistent.

When I got drafted last year I had high expectations, and the team did too. Even ESPN had me picked as the preseason favourite for rookie of the year. And when those expectations didn't happen, I sort of got real down on myself. And then when I ended up getting hurt it just made everything worse for me. And having to deal with all that on your own, and especially having a certain pain that I'd never endured before, made things very difficult.

Then having an elite, Hall of Fame superstar come in and just take me under his wing and guide me through everything really helped. I asked a lot of question, a whole lot of questions. And he answered all of them. He just wanted to help. He told me that he really never had anyone the way that I did, and any possible way he could help, he will. And he's kept his word.

I started off with the Bills wearing No. 81, but when Terrell came in I switched to 84 and gave him 81. I don't plan on switching back. I just feel it's a new beginning for me.

This week Trent Edwards will be back. I got to do some routes with him and Ryan Fitzpatrick. But Edwards is looking good. And the bye week came at a good time for us. We had a lot of little injuries and now guys have been able to get their nicks and bruises taken care of.

This week against the Titans, we just have to focus on us and take advantage of our opportunities. They've got a lot of momentum now that they've switched the quarterback; Vince Young is doing pretty well. We just have to have the right mind frame and we have to out-physical and outplay them.

Tony Dungy recently said the Bills would be a good fit for Michael Vick. I think any competition is good for the team. We have a very good receiving corps and I feel the quarterbacks that we have are good as well. But I wouldn't have a problem with bringing in someone else to lift the competition even higher.

I feel with the type of game Vick had and brings to the table, being a running quarterback as well, I feel it could be a good fit in Buffalo. Anybody who would come and help turn things around and get Ws, I'm all for it.
