New Browns quarterback Jake Delhomme took the podium Wednesday in Berea and was nothing but straight forward.

Delhomme, 35, is a 12-year NFL veteran and said he merely is a guy who wants to win and wears his ''emotions on my sleeve.''

He said he wasn't promised by either team president Mike Holmgren or coach Eric Mangini that he would be the starting quarterback but he expects to earn it.
