Canadian offensive lineman Danny Watkins has been invited to the NFL draft. Watkins, the Kelowna, B.C. native starred at offensive tackle for Baylor University. The senior is expected to play guard at the pro level.

Watkins, who is projected as a high second-round pick made a large impression at the Senior Bowl and NFL Scouting Combine. The Canadian lineman is reportedly very interested in attending the draft at Radio City Music Hall.

Despite labour issues, the NFL draft is set to take place on Apr. 28 in New York City. Watkins' CFL rights are owned by the B.C. Lions, who drafted him fourth overall in the CFL College draft last spring.
