ASHBURN, Va. - The Washington Redskins have signed receiver David Anderson and released receiver Donte' Stallworth.
Anderson joined the Redskins on Tuesday, nearly a month after he was waived by Houston. He was in his sixth season with the Texans, where he played under current Redskins offensive co-ordinator Kyle Shanahan.
Anderson has 82 catches for 895 yards in his career but only one reception for 9 yards this season.
Stallworth joined the Redskins this season but failed to make much of an impact. He had five catches for 46 yards for an offence that is struggling to score.
