JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Jaguars now have placed 31 players on injured reserve.
The Jaguars added defensive end Matt Roth (concussion) and cornerback Ashton Youboty (hamstring) to the list Monday. The team also promoted offensive tackle Daniel Baldridge to the active roster.
Baldridge, who spent most of two seasons on the practice squad, could serve as a backup in Sunday's season finale against Indianapolis. Right tackle Guy Whimper likely will miss his second consecutive game because of a knee injury, putting rookie Cameron Bradfield in the starting lineup again.
Jacksonville leads the league in season-ending injuries, and 10 of them have been in the secondary. Cornerbacks Rashean Mathis, Derek Cox, Will Middleton and T.J. Heath, and safeties Chris Prosinski, Rod Issac, Courtney Greene, Terrell Whitehead and Darcel McBath are on IR.
