ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- The Buffalo Bills have signed seven players to reserve future contacts, including free-agent linebacker Scott McKillop.
Selected in the fifth-round of the 2009 draft by San Francisco, McKillop has not played since tearing his left knee in training camp in 2010. He's been out of football since being waived by the 49ers in August.
McKillop is reunited with Buffalo's newly promoted defensive co-ordinator Dave Wannstedt, who previously was the player's coach at the University of Pittsburgh.
The team also formally announced the signing free agent receiver David Clowney, who had agreed to his contract this week. The Bills also re-signed five players who finished the season on their practice squad: offensive linemen Jake Vermiglio and Keith Williams, linebacker Robert Eddins, defensive back Prince Miller and defensive end Jay Ross.
