As long as the Super Bowl has been around, advertisers have been paying big bucks to try and shill their products to the home audience. In fact, many people watch the big game just to watch the commercials rather than action on the field.

Some ads have been more successful over the years than others. After wading through hundreds of commercials, here are the 10 that seem to have resonated the most with viewers over the years.

Yes, this was the year that Apple launched the "1984" commercial that changed advertising forever but nothing caught on more with viewers than hearing a little old lady ask, "Where's the beef?"

Everyone can spot Michael J. Fox in this ad but doesn't his new neighbour look awfully familiar?

Is there a Cindy Crawford for the modern generation? (Maybe, Kate Upton?)

A commercial about male bonding that caught the eyes of a continent and had us all asking the existential question, "Wassup?"

Not a particularly funny commercial unless you consider MJ's phenomenal duds. However, it would have been fun watching the two-most competitive ballers of all-time play a little game of horse.

Nothing decreased office productivity more in 2003 than the viral ads that featured Terry Tate increasing office productivity for Felcher & Sons.

If only it were as easy to get out of a jam as Bud Light made it seem.

Never bring a knife to a gunfight and never trust a friend as long as the golden nectar of the gods is involved.

Pensioner Betty White continues to satisfy. In 2010, she was rode all day in a touch football game.

The years keep passing by but somehow Ozzy Osbourne continues to remain in the spotlight. This time the Wizard of Oz does a little photo bomb on Beebs.
