Bears linebacker Briggs doubtful for Patriots game

LAKE FOREST, Ill. — Chicago Bears linebacker Lance Briggs will likely miss his third straight game because of a rib injury.

The seven-time Pro Bowl player is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game at New England.

Fellow starting linebacker Jon Bostic (back) is also doubtful, while cornerback Kyle Fuller (hip, hand) is probable. Right tackle Jordan Mills (foot) is questionable after sitting out Friday’s practice, and safety Danny McCray (knee) is out.
