CINCINNATI, Ohio — Bengals cornerback Chris Lewis-Harris was suspended for two games Wednesday for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy.

Lewis-Harris can participate in preseason games and practices. He’ll miss the first two games without pay and can return to the active roster on Monday, Sept. 15.

The Bengals signed Lewis-Harris as an undrafted college free agent from Tennessee-Chattanooga in 2012. He spent the majority of that season on the practice squad.

The cornerback has played in 10 games for Cincinnati, primarily on special teams.
