ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — The Buffalo Bills have signed free agent defensive lineman Jarius Wynn, who split last season between San Diego and Dallas.

Listed at 6-foot-3 and 285 pounds, Wynn broke into the NFL in 2009 when the Georgia product was drafted in the sixth round by the Green Bay Packers.

He spent three seasons in Green Bay and then played the 2012 season with the Tennessee Titans. The Cowboys signed Wynn last October after he was released by the Chargers.

Overall, Wynn has 8 1/2 sacks in 58 career games.

Mostly used as a defensive end, Wynn has the bulk to play tackle. He is expected to provide depth for a defence that’s making the switch to a 4-3 system under new co-ordinator Jim Schwartz.
