ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — The Buffalo Bills have hired Gerald Dixon as a pro scout.
Dixon spent the past six years as an assistant at The Citadel, including the last three coaching cornerbacks. He was a four-year starter at Alabama, and was cut by both the Bills and the Detroit Lions before the start of the 2004 season.
A native of Jamaica, Dixon went on to play in NFL Europe and spent two years with the Edmonton Eskimos of the CFL.
