The Buffalo Bills have a better troll game than we thought.
According to Lauren Hall of WIVB-TV, the Bills are selling inflating pumps “front and centre” at the team store prior to Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots at Ralph Wilson Stadium.
The air pumps are a clear ode to the Deflategate saga that surrounded the Patriots after last year’s AFC Championship Game and lasted throughout the entire summer.
The Bills, under new head coach Rex Ryan, have been throwing shade at the Patriots throughout the week leading up to the game.
“I don’t like New England so, yeah, it’s definitely personal for me,” defensive Aaron Williams told local beat reporters earlier this week. “Me saying that may run a lot of stories. But that’s just the way I feel.”
Added defensive lineman Marcell Dareus, who is set to make his season debut on Sunday:” Don’t nobody like the Patriots. Let’s just be honest about it now.”
Heck, even the Bills’ Twitter account even got in on the smack talk.
Ryan had a 4-9 record against New England during his tenure with the New York Jets.
