An East Boston man was arrested for allegedly setting off a fire alarm at the Logan Airport Hilton Hotel where the Pittsburgh Steelers were staying the night before their AFC Championship game against the New England Patriots.
According to MassLive.com, the alarm was set off after 3 a.m., awaking everyone at the hotel.
State Police and Massport Fire arrived at 3:40 in the morning and found Dennis Harrison, who was not staying at the Hilton, walking around the building.
“Harrison was not a guest at the hotel and had no legitimate reason to be on the hotel property,” State Police said.
The police charged Harrison with disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace and setting off a false fire alarm.
The Steelers battle New England for a spot in the Super Bowl at 6:40 p.m. on Sunday.
