Free agent Canadian linebacker Henoc Muamba has a workout scheduled with the Green Bay Packers on Tuesday, per sources.

The 2013 CFL All-Star made 106 tackles, one sack and one interception for Winnipeg that season. Coming off that stellar showing in Canada, Muamba drew interest from NFL teams which led to nine tryouts. Muamba signed with Indianapolis in February 2014 and he played in 13 games for the Colts that year registering six total tackles and contributing on special teams. After training camp on September 5, 2015, Muamba was waived by Indianapolis and he’s since been going through the process of finding a new team.

There has been interest on both sides of the border in the St. Francis Xavier University product.

Muamba had a workout with the New York Giants , but he did not receive a contract offer from the team. Since then he’s been touring Canada visiting CFL teams travelling to B.C., Edmonton, Hamilton and Montreal. His agent Johnathon Hardaway has been working diligently to schedule NFL workouts and meetings with different franchises north and south of the border.

CFL offers for Muamba – the six-foot, 242 lb. linebacker – are believed to be more than $225,000 per year.
