INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Colts have signed journeyman defensive lineman Earl Okine.

The 6-foot-6, 284-pound Florida alum last played in the Fall Experimental Football League, helping the Brooklyn Bolts go 4-0 in 2014. Okine also played last year in the Arena Football League, where he finished with 28 tackles and 5 1/2 sacks for the Orlando Predators. Before that, he spent part of the 2013 season with the CFL’s Calgary Stampeders.

Okine originally signed with Houston as an undrafted rookie in May 2013 but was waived the Texans three months later.

Indy has already signed two CFL players during the off-season and has players from a variety of leagues on its roster.
