INDIANAPOLIS — The Colts have made qualifying offers to four restricted free agents.

Indianapolis said Thursday it has made offers to starting inside linebacker Jerrell Freeman, running back Daniel "Boom" Herron and outside linebackers Daniel Adongo and Cam Johnson.

Freeman signed with Indy in January 2012 after playing in the CFL. He became an immediate starter. Freeman has 516 tackles, nine sacks, eight forced fumbles and three interceptions since joining the Colts.

Herron was plucked off the Bengals’ practice squad in October 2013 and became Indy’s starter late last season when he rushed for 351 yards on 78 carries. He set a playoff franchise record with 128 yards receiving in a win over Denver.

Adongo, a former rugby player, went on injured reserve in August. Johnson also finished 2014 on injured reserve.
