Rivalries get rekindled in Week 2 of the NFL season with several divisional matchups on the schedule, starting with the New York Jets visiting the Buffalo Bills as narrow 1.5-point favourites on Thursday night at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

Buffalo takes a five-game straight-up winning streak against New York into Thursday night’s Jets vs. Bills betting matchup at New Era Field, and is undefeated in its past four home dates against the Jets.

The Bills struggled in a 13-7 Week 1 loss in Baltimore. Quarterback Tyrod Taylor failed to throw a scoring pass for a third straight game as the total finished UNDER for the fourth time in Buffalo’s last five outings. SU losers in their past two, the Jets look to avenge a 22-17 loss to Buffalo in last year’s regular-season finale that denied them a berth in the postseason.

In other AFC East action, Jimmy Garoppolo and the New England Patriots host the Miami Dolphins on Sunday as 6.5-point favourites. Garoppolo impressed in his debut as the Patriots starter, leading New England to a 23-21 upset victory in Arizona, while Miami looks to halt a seven-game SU losing streak in Foxborough, including six losses by double-digit margins.

Things heat up in the NFC East as the Washington Redskins host the Dallas Cowboys as 2.5-point favourites. The Redskins wrapped up last season with a 34-23 win in Dallas, but are coming off a 38-16 blowout loss at home to Pittsburgh on Monday night.

Dak Prescott makes his second start under centre for the Cowboys, whose only win without veteran starter Tony Romo last season came against the Redskins. Dallas posted a 19-16 victory over the Redskins as 2-point road chalk in Week 13, improving to 3-0 SU and 2-1 ATS in its past three visits to Washington, according to the OddsShark NFL Database.

The Cleveland Browns look to regroup after losing quarterback Robert Griffin III in a devastating 29-10 loss to Philadelphia last week. The Browns are hoping to end a three-game SU home losing streak against the Baltimore Ravens as they host their AFC North rivals as 7-point underdogs.

The Ravens are 1-4 SU in their past five road dates but used stingy defence to hold Buffalo to just 160 total yards last weekend.

Pittsburgh is 3-point chalk against the Cincinnati Bengals in Sunday’s other AFC North matchup. The Steelers are 5-1 SU and 4-1-1 ATS in their past six games against Cincinnati. The Green Bay Packers visit the Minnesota Vikings as 2-point betting favourites in a key NFC North clash on Sunday night.
