PHILADELPHIA — The Philadelphia Eagles have named Ed Marynowitz vice-president of player personnel.

The 30-year-old Marynowitz joined the Eagles in 2012 as the team’s assistant director of pro scouting. He was promoted one year later to assistant director of player personnel.

Philadelphia reshuffled its football operations staff after missing the playoffs following a second straight 10-win season.

Coach Chip Kelly got control of the Eagles’ player personnel department after Howie Roseman was promoted from general manager to executive vice-president of football operations.

That shake-up came two days after the dismissal of vice-president of player personnel Tom Gamble on Dec. 31.
