Ex-QB Tebow destroys golf ball on 343-yard drive

Tim Tebow hasn't played in the NFL since 2012.

Ex-Denver Broncos, New York Jets and New England Patriots quarterback Tim Tebow was a guest on the Golf Channel’s Morning Drive show on Monday, and was invited to take a couple of shots on the simulator.

Tebow launched a 343-yard drive right down the centre of the fairway. His career-high for yards thrown in an NFL game is 308. Maybe the Heisman Trophy winner should have pursued a career in golf.

However, the 343-yard drive was on Tebow’s fourth attempt. His first two shots missed to the left of the fairway and the third ended up in the rough.

Toronto Blue Jays third baseman Josh Donaldson also appeared on the Golf Channel in December, where he hit a 309-yard drive.
