EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — The New York Giants have re-signed Pro Bowl placekicker Josh Brown.

The Giants announced the signing on Monday, although Brown said he agreed to the deal last week.

Contract terms were not immediately available.

Brown scored a career-high 134 points, the fifth-highest total in the NFL and the fourth-highest total in Giants history. His previous best was 127 points with Seattle in 2007. He made 30 of 32 field goal attempts last season, a franchise-record 93.8 per cent success rate, and he has hit 77 of 84 field goal tries in his three seasons with the team.

Brown has scored 350 points with the Giants, moving past Raul Allegre (340) and Amani Toomer (348) and into ninth place on the franchise’s career list.
