GREEN BAY, Wis. — First-round draft pick Damarious Randall has signed his rookie contract with the Green Bay Packers.

The defensive back out of Arizona State was the 30th overall selection in this year’s draft. He was the last of the Packers’ eight picks this year to sign a contract.

Randall has been taking part in off-season workouts, including the first day of mandatory minicamp on Tuesday.

The 5-foot-11 Randall was a safety with the Sun Devils, but he is slated for cornerback in Green Bay. It was a position of need after the Packers lost veteran Tramon Williams (Browns) and Davon House (Jaguars) in free agency.

The Packers also took cornerback Quinten Rollins out of Miami (Ohio) in the second round.
