ARLINGTON, Texas — Carolina defensive end Charles Johnson is active and starting against Dallas on Thanksgiving after missing seven games with a hamstring injury.

Johnson replaces Kony Ealy at left defensive end Thursday for the undefeated Panthers, who have 22 sacks in their past six games without one of their best pass rushers. Johnson has averaged more than 10 sacks per season over the past five years.

Panthers cornerback Charles Tillman is out for the second straight game with a knee injury. He was listed as doubtful. Receiver Corey Brown, who was questionable with a shoulder injury, also is inactive.

Cowboys cornerback Morris Claiborne will miss his second straight game with hamstring and ankle injuries. He had already been ruled out.
