After disposing of Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos with an impressive 24-13 win last weekend, the Indianapolis Colts look to earn their first Super Bowl berth since 2009 when they meet the New England Patriots as seven-point underdogs at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com in the AFC Championship Game.

Indianapolis improved to 6-3 on the road this season, both SU and ATS, with last week’s victory in Denver, and will take the field in Sunday’s Colts versus Patriots betting matchup at Gillette Stadium in the midst of a three-game SU and ATS winning streak.

The Colts have been an offensive juggernaut this season, averaging 28.6 points per game, good for sixth overall in the NFL. But it has been an unforgiving defence that has carried the club in recent weeks, holding opponents to a total of just two TD passes and one TD run in their last three games, and forcing the point total to finish UNDER in their last six.

The Patriots make their fourth straight appearance in the AFC Championship Game. New England is a dominant 17-1 SU in their last 18 home games, 12-6 ATS, and recorded an impressive 42-20 road win over the Colts in Week 11, claiming the outright victory as three-point underdogs at the sportsbooks.

Over in the NFC, the Seattle Seahawks will be looking to clinch a return to the Super Bowl when they take on the Green Bay Packers as 7.5-point favourites in the NFC Championship Game.

The Seahawks have been dominant since rebounding from a shaky 3-3 start to the regular season, going 10-1 SU in their last 11, and have not posted an ATS loss since dropping a 24-20 decision in Kansas City in Week 11, when they failed to cover as slim one-point underdogs.

Once again, stifling defence has been the Seahawks’ hallmark this season. Seattle has held opponents to just 15.6 points per game this season, denying opposing teams a major score in four of their last seven outings.

The Packers travel to Seattle buoyed by a three-game SU winning streak, 2-1 ATS. But while Green Bay is a solid 6-3 SU in their last nine contests against the Seahawks according to the OddsShark NFL Database, 4-3-2 ATS, they have been a middling road team this season, going 4-4 SU and ATS, including a 36-16 beating at the hands of the Seahawks in their last visit to CenturyLink Field back in Week 1.
