Pats’ Vollmer, Cannon return for game vs. Bills

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — The New England Patriots got two of their offensive linemen back for Monday night’s game against the Buffalo Bills.

Sebastian Vollmer and Marcus Cannon were active for the game. Vollmer missed one game, and Cannon missed four.

Receiver Aaron Dobson, who was added to the injury report in the morning, was also active for the game. Julian Edelman was out a week after he was injured against the New York Giants.

Also on the New England inactive list were receivers Keshawn Martin and Justin Coleman, offensive lineman Tre’ Jackson, defensive linemen Sealver Siliga and Trey Flowers and defensive back Justin Coleman.

For the Bills, EJ Manuel returns as the backup quarterback, and Josh Johnson was inactive. Also on the Bills’ inactive list were running back Boom Herron, linebacker Randell Johnson, offensive linemen Gabe Ikard and Cyrus Kouandjio, and defensive linemen Kyle Williams and Stefan Charles.
