The New England Patriots are riding a seven-game winning streak and sit atop the AFC at 9-2 straight up (SU) and 7-4 against the spread (ATS) on the season, but they’re still pegged as betting underdogs on the opening NFL lines at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com for their marquee Week 13 matchup.

The Patriots opened as four-point underdogs for their game at Lambeau Field against the Green Bay Packers for Sunday afternoon, with Tom Brady and company going 7-0 SU and 6-1 ATS in their last seven games dating back to early October to take control of the AFC East race.

The Packers, meanwhile, are 8-3 SU and 6-4-1 ATS on the season and are now a game up on the Detroit Lions for first place in the NFC North. Green Bay is 7-1 SU and 6-2 ATS in its past eight games dating back to late September; the Packers fell 31-27 to the Patriots when the teams last met back in 2010, but covered a 14.5-point spread on the road in that game. Totals bettors will be watching the New England/Green Bay matchup closely on Sunday afternoon, as the teams are a combined 17-5 on the OVER/UNDER heading into Week 13.

Three games are on tap for Thursday on the NFL Week 13 betting slate, with Chicago at Detroit, Philadelphia at Dallas and Seattle at San Francisco making up the schedule of matchups for American Thanksgiving. The Lions opened as 5.5-point favourites against the Bears, with the Cowboys opening as three-point favourites against the Eagles, and the Niners sitting as slim one-point favourites on the opening betting lines against the rival Seahawks.

Another key division matchup takes place on Sunday Night Football, with the Kansas City Chiefs getting a visit from Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos. The Broncos (8-3 SU, 5-6 ATS) are just one game ahead of the Chiefs (7-4 SU, 8-3 ATS) in the AFC West standings, and they opened as 1.5-point road favourites for the game. The Broncos are 5-0 SU and 3-2 ATS in their last five games against the Chiefs according to the OddsShark NFL Database.
