ASHBURN, Va. — Redskins backup quarterback Colt McCoy missed Monday’s practice with an undisclosed injury.

Coach Jay Gruden said he wouldn’t elaborate on McCoy’s or anyone else’s injury status until Wednesday.

McCoy took the second spot on Washington’s depth chart after starter Kirk Cousins won the job from Robert Griffin III in August.

McCoy has 25 NFL starts, including four last season for the Redskins.

Griffin, who had a concussion in the preseason, has been relegated to the third string and has been inactive for all three regular-season games.
