The Buffalo Bills will be seeking a fifth straight outright victory on Sunday afternoon when they clash with the Miami Dolphins in a battle of AFC East rivals as 3-point betting favourites at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

Buffalo improved to 4-2 straight up last week with a 45-16 rout of the fading San Francisco 49ers, and remain just one game back of first-place New England in the divisional standings going into Sunday afternoon’s Bills vs. Dolphins betting matchup at Hard Rock Stadium.

The Bills have surrendered fewer than 18 points per game during their hot streak, which has Buffalo football fans dreaming of a return to the post-season for the first time since 1999. The club has tallied a pair of road victories, including a 16-0 win in New England three weeks ago, and is a solid 7-2 SU and ATS in its past nine games as road chalk.

Miami ended a dismal four-game losing streak against the spread last weekend, shocking Pittsburgh with a 30-15 victory as 7.5-point road underdogs. However, the Dolphins have failed to post consecutive outright wins as betting underdogs since 2013, and are 1-5 SU and ATS in their past six overall against Buffalo.

Elsewhere, the Patriots look to improve to 6-1 SU on the season as they travel to Pittsburgh to battle the Steelers as 7.5-point chalk. New England has found another gear since the return of quarterback Tom Brady two weeks ago, handing crushing defeats to Cincinnati and Cleveland, and has held opponents to just 11.5 points per game over its past four outings.

The Steelers opened as 2-point underdogs against New England, but have seen the spread widen significantly following news that quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will be sidelined for at least two weeks with a knee injury.

In other NFL Week 7 action, the undefeated Minnesota Vikings return following last week’s bye to take on the struggling Philadelphia Eagles as 2.5-point road favourites. The Vikings currently ride an eight-game SU and ATS win streak in regular-season action, which started in Week 15 of last season.

Conversely, the Eagles have cooled off since opening the season with three straight victories, losing SU and ATS in their past two outings including a 27-20 loss in Washington where rookie pivot Carson Wentz was sacked five times.

As well, the Redskins aim for a fifth straight SU and ATS win as they take on the Detroit Lions as narrow 1-point underdogs, while the Bengals host the Browns as 9.5-point favourites in a battle of struggling AFC North rivals, and the Seattle Seahawks visit the Arizona Cardinals as 2-point underdogs on Sunday Night Football.
