LANDOVER, Md. – Jake Locker’s bruised right thumb has ruled him out for the Tennessee Titans’ game against the Washington Redskins.
Locker is on the inactive list for Sunday’s game. Charlie Whitehurst is set to make his second start in a row and his third of the season.
Locker hurt his thumb two weeks ago in a loss to the Cleveland Browns.
Tennessee defensive end Ropati Pitoitua is also inactive with a broken left pinkie.
For the Redskins, cornerback David Amerson is active, having recovered from a concussion suffered in the previous week’s loss to the Arizona Cardinals.
Washington linebacker Perry Riley misses his second straight game with a sprained MCL in his left knee.
Green will miss Sunday’s game against the Colts
INDIANAPOLIS – Receiver A.J. Green is inactive for Sunday’s game against the Colts with a toe injury.
Green will be replaced by Brandon Tate for the second straight week.
Cincinnati linebacker Jayson DiManche will replace Emmanuel Lamur, who is out with a shoulder injury. Vincent Rey will start for linebacker Rey Maualuga, who is out with a hamstring injury.
Cincinnati (3-1-1) also deactivates cornerback Chris Lewis-Harris, offensive tackle Tanner Hawkinson, and defensive linemen Will Clarke and Brandon Thompson.
Indianapolis (4-2) puts cornerback Darius Butler, linebacker Victor Butler, and offensive linemen Lance Louis, Khaled Holmes, Jamon Meredith, Kelcy Quarles, and defensive tackle Arthur Jones on the inactive list.
Calvin Johnson inactive for Detroit; Jimmy Graham, Mark Ingram both active for Saints
DETROIT – Calvin Johnson will miss a second straight game for the Detroit Lions because of an ankle injury.
The star receiver is inactive for Sunday’s game against New Orleans.
Saints tight end Jimmy Graham (shoulder) and Mark Ingram (hand) are both active.
Detroit’s other inactives are tight ends Eric Ebron and Joseph Fauria, quarterback Kellen Moore, running back Theo Riddick, tackle Garrett Reynolds and defensive end Larry Webster.
Inactive for New Orleans are wide receivers Joseph Morgan and Nick Toon, cornerback Patrick Robinson, fullback Erik Lorig, linebackers Raymond Humber and Kyle Knox, and defensive tackle Brandon Deaderick.
Johnson has never missed more than two games in a season. He has 22 catches for 348 yards and two touchdowns in 2014.
