Playoff football is never short of drama. That was the case again on Sunday when the Minnesota Vikings faced the New Orleans Saints.
Down 24-23 with seconds remaining, the Vikings needed to get into field-goal range for a shot at winning their NFC divisional-round matchup.
Then an incredible moment occurred. Vikings quarterback Case Keenum threw to receiver Stefon Diggs, but Saints safety Marcus Williams missed Diggs, who turned around and ran untouched into the endzone as time expired. Minnesota won 29-24.
That dramatic play sent social media into a frenzy, and left everyone miffed as to why Williams didn’t just try to tackle Diggs inbounds and kill off the game.
