This man is a Super Bowl champion, Super Bowl MVP, two-time NFL MVP, four-time Pro Bowler and, as of last night, Celebrity Jeopardy! champion.
Who is… Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
The 31-year-old added to his impressive résumé Tuesday, defeating Canadian Kevin O’Leary (of Dragon’s Den and Shark Tank fame) and retired American astronaut Mark Kelly to win the long-running game show.
Rodgers—who finished with $8,399—won $50,000 dollars for the charity of his choice (Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer), while O’Leary and Kelly each earned $10,000 for their respective charities.
The highlight of Rodgers’s appearance, however, may have been the “Discount Double Check” from host Alex Trebek.
The Super Bowl XLV MVP also had some fun at rehearsals with his “Final Jeopardy!” answer, writing down the name of Burt Reynolds’s big-hat wearing alter ego from the hilarious Saturday Night Live sketch.
Well played, Aaron. Well played.
