Wrong Brandon Marshall fires back at misguided Twitter trolls

Instead of celebrating Sunday’s impressive win over the Dallas Cowboys or prepping for a Week 3 game in Buffalo, Denver Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall spent Monday night responding to Twitter trolls.

However, in another case of mistaken NFL identity, Marshall wasn’t responding to his own haters but those of his namesake, New York Giants wide receiver Brandon Marshall.

Marshall’s Giants were in the midst of another disappointing showing on Monday night, this time against the Detroit Lions. New York’s offence is struggling mightily and the wide receiver has just two catches for 27 yards through two games this season. He also had a crucial drop in the fourth quarter against the Lions.

Giants fans and fantasy owners were not happy and took to Twitter to voice their displeasure. Unfortunately, the wrong Brandon Marshall felt the wrath.

Fortunately for everyone else, the results were hilarious.
