Following the Family Day holiday in Canada, Sportsnet.ca's Daily Gallery has a look at some families currently in the sporting world.

The seven-foot Gasol brothers, Marc (left) and Pau (right) are two of the premier big men in the NBA today and there may be another brother on the way. Their younger brother Adria, 15, is already 6'5 and, yes, he's into basketball.

Daniel (left) and Henrik Sedin (right) have been seemingly inseparable since they left their native Sweden. Drafted second and third overall in the 1999 NHL entry draft by the Vancouver Canucks, the twins have been terrorizing NHL defences ever since.

New York Giants QB Eli Manning (left) may have recently stepped out of his brother Peyton's (right) shadow in securing his second Super Bowl over the New England Patriots. If you're wondering where the Manning boys got their skills from, their Dad Archie was also an NFL quarterback for the New Orleans Saints, Houston Oilers and Minnesota Vikings.

Brothers B.J. (left) and Justin (right) Upton became the first brothers in MLB history to each hit at least 20 home runs and steal 20 bases in the same season in 2011.

Sisters Venus (left) and Serena (right) Williams have both held the world's number one ranking in women's tennis. Even though Venus is the older sister, Serena holds a 13-10 edge in head-to-head contests.

Jordan (left) and Eric (right) Staal have both won a Stanley Cup in the early stages of their NHL careers. Their brothers Marc (of the New York Rangers) and Jared (currently in the AHL) have some work to do in order to regain bragging rights at the Staal family's Thunder Bay home.

After creating a forceful duo at Stanford University, the NBA's Lopez twins were split up via the 2008 draft. The New Jersey Nets took Brook (right) 10th overall, while the Phoenix Suns selected Robin (left) with the 15th pick.

Los Angeles Dodgers right-hander Jeff Weaver (right) goofs around with his little bro Jered of the Los Angeles Angels. Jeff must have taught his brother well, as Jered (left) went 18-8 with 198 K's in 2011.

Like any older brother should, Luke Schenn of the Toronto Maple Leafs looks out for his younger sibling Brayden of the Philadelphia Flyers... except they when they line up against each other on the ice. In fact Luke can't seem to stop his little brother's Flyers, as Brayden is 2-0 head-to-head with his big bro in NHL competition.
