CBS and the PGA Tour have removed clips on YouTube that appear to show the world’s No. 1 golfer passing gas while standing next to caddie Steve Williams.
A live, nearby CBS microphone appears to have caught the moment and the subsequent laughs from Woods and Williams.
According to one report, CBS has told celebrity news website TMZ.com that the culprit was not Woods, leading some to speculate that it may in fact have been on-course reporter David Feherty.
Woods won the tournament by three strokes over Greg Chalmers and is taking part in this week’s WCG Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone.
