Canadian Golfer Graham DeLaet is prepared to chip in towards southern Alberta flood relief efforts.
The native of Weyburn, Sask., announced on Twitter that he will donate a sum of money based on his play in the PGA Tour’s Travelers Championship taking place from June 20-23 at TPC River Highlands.
The province of Alberta has been ravaged by flooding that has spread from Canmore to Calgary after experiencing up to 200 millimetres of rain fall.
After shooting 65 in the opening round, DeLaet finished Friday’s second round with a score of 70 and sits five shots back of current leader Bubba Watson at five-under par.
Delaet, who turned professional in 2006, is currently ranked 102nd in the world and has two top-10 finishes in 2013.
